Blog Post: MPA Watch Pilot Program on Fishers Island

Thank you to the Fishers Island Conservancy for this write-up about human uses monitoring on Fishers Island! In late July, Angela Kemsley of MPA Watch and WildCoast came to Fishers Island to help identify transects, set up an online database, and train volunteers for a pilot human uses monitoring program. Monitoring will occur year-round to help identify how human activity overlaps with seagrass areas. Head to the Fishers Island Conservancy website for the full article.
